Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit Details
- JRF (Junior Research Fellowship): Maximum 31 years as on 01.06.2026. Age relaxation applicable as per UGC rules (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women).
- Assistant Professor (NET): No upper age limit.
Educational Qualification
- Master’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized university in the concerned subject.
- Minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/Transgender).
- Candidates appearing in final year of Master’s degree can also apply provisionally.
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree candidates with 55% marks are also eligible (as per UGC norms).
